VODACOM RETENTIONS DIGITAL GIFT CARD/ VOUCHER/ COUPON
During the Vodacom Retentions Voucher Promotion which commences on 01 March 2023 at 9h00 and ends on 31 December 2023 at 17h00, customers who sign up for a 24-month Vodacom contract* through one of the following Vodacom cancellations call centres (business partners) will qualify for a voucher (“Reward”) valued at the amount stipulated in the new contract:
*Not all 24-month contracts are applicable, only certain sim-only and handset deals agreed upon by relevant stakeholders apply, the deal description stipulates whether a voucher is included as well as the amount.

REDEMPTION OF THE REWARD
In order to redeem the Reward, qualifying customers will be directed to a reward redemption website (“Website”); https://vodacomvouchers.expectmorepromos.co.za where the qualifying customer is to enter their unique pin code received via SMS.
The Website is the only place where qualifying customers can redeem their Reward. Qualifying customers will be able to redeem the Reward within 120 (one hundred and twenty) calendar days of issuing of the unique pin code via SMS. If qualifying customers fail to redeem their Reward within the required validity period, they will forfeit their Reward.
Vodacom reserves the right to extend or curtail the promotional period for any reason deemed valid.
- Upon verification and activation of a new contract, the qualifying customer will receive communication in the form of an SMS to the activated Vodacom contract number.
- 30 (thirty) days after the first billing cycle of the new contract the qualifying customer will receive a once-off unique promotional pin code, as well as a link to the Website which will be sent to the qualifying customer in the form of an SMS.
- After entering their unique promotional pin code on the Website, the qualifying customer will be prompted to enter their cell phone number to receive a unique one-time pin (OTP) to allow them access to the Website.
- The unique promotional pin code can only be used once, to redeem from 1 (one) of the following partners, as a once-off nonexchangeable choice Reward: (i) Woolworths, (ii) Pick n Pay, (iii) Takealot.com or (iv) Mr D Food.
- The Woolworths gift card is governed by the following terms and conditions:
- The gift card is valid for 1 (one) year from date of issue.
- Dependent on the qualifying Reward total value, the customer vouchers will be provided in either of the following denominations;
- R300 (Three Hundred Rand)
- R400 (Four Hundred Rand)
- R800 (Eight Hundred Rand)
- R1000 (One Thousand Rand)
- R1200 (One Thousand Two Hundred Rand)
- R1500 (One Thousand Five Hundred Rand)
- R2000 (Two Thousand Rand)
- R2500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Rand)
- R2750 (Two Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Rand)
- R3000 (Three Thousand Rand)
- R3250 ((Three Thousand Two Hundred and Fifty Rand)
- R3500 (Three Thousand Five Hundred Rand)
- R4000 (Four Thousand Rand)
- R5000 (Five Thousand Rand)
- R5500 (Five Thousand Five Hundred Rand)
- R6000 (Six Thousand Rand)
- R6500 (Six Thousand Five Hundred Rand)
- R7500 (Seven Thousand Five Hundred Rand)
- The rand value of either of the above amounts will be transferred onto a physical Woolworths gift card. This gift card can be used immediately.
- The gift card cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
- The remaining value of the gift card will stay on the gift card until redeemed.
- No cashback will be given as change.
- The gift card value will remain until the balance is either depleted or the expiry date is reached, whichever occurs first.
- The gift card cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
- Woolworths will only accept digital gift cards in the format of an SMS. The customer must SMS the digital gift card to their phone and present the SMS in a Woolworths store at till point.
- Woolworths will only accept the digital format on presentation of a South African ID or Driver’s license and the customer must present both the gift card number (Bin Number sixteen digits) as well as the CVV number (three digits) included in your SMS.
- The customer will be required to present this gift card as payment for their Woolworths purchases.
- Purchases will be deducted from the gift card amount until the value reaches zero.
- The gift card can be used at all Woolworths branches (Food & Clothing) except for Engen garage branches.
- The customer can check their remaining balance at any till point in a Woolworths store.
- The balance reflecting on the Woolworths system is binding.
- This digital gift card may not be used to make payments into any Woolworths Account, Woolworths Loan, Visa account or utility account.
- The Pick n Pay digital grocery voucher is governed by the following terms and conditions:
- The voucher is valid for 3 (three) months from date of issue.
- Dependent on the qualifying Reward total value, the customer Reward vouchers will be provided in either of the following denominations;
- R100 (One Hundred Rand)
- R250 (Two Hundred and Fifty Rand)
- R500 (Five Hundred Rand)
- R1000 (One Thousand Rand)
- i.e. If a unique promotional pin code Reward entitles the customer to an R3000 (Three Thousand Rand), the customer will receive 3 (three) x R1000 (One Thousand Rand) Pick n Pay digital grocery vouchers.
- The Pick n Pay digital grocery voucher is exchangeable for merchandise at all Pick n Pay retail outlets, excluding all liquor and tobacco-related products.
- Misuse of this voucher, which shall be determined in Pick n Pay’s sole discretion, constitutes fraud.
- Pick n Pay digital grocery vouchers can be used as a valid tender on all products and services in-store, excluding all liquor and tobacco-related products.
- Each Pick n Pay digital grocery voucher will have a unique code and can be used multiple times i.e. until all the funds on the voucher have been spent.
- Pick n Pay digital grocery voucher can only be used as tender in-store at the point of sale.
- The Pick n Pay digital grocery voucher may not be redeemed for cash and no credit balance will be given as cash.
- Pick n Pay digital grocery vouchers can be purchased in-store with any valid tender.
- The digital grocery voucher is cash and if lost, stolen, sent to the incorrect person or the till slip fades, it is the customer’s responsibility and Pick n Pay will not be liable for any loss suffered.
- The Mr D Food coupon is governed by the following terms and conditions:
- The Mr D Food coupon is valid for 3 (three) months from date of issue.
- Dependent on the qualifying Reward total value, the customer Reward vouchers will be provided in either of the following denominations;
- R100 (One Hundred Rand)
- R200 (Two Hundred Rand)
- R250 (Two Hundred and Fifty Rand)
- R300 (Three Hundred Rand)
- i.e. If a unique promotional pin code reward entitles a customer to an R3000 (Three Thousand Rand), a customer will receive 10 (ten) x R300 (Three Hundred Rand) Mr D Food coupons.
- The Mr D Food coupon cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
- The Mr D Food coupon can only be used once.
- Only one Mr D Food coupon can be used per order.
- Only one Mr D Food coupon can be used per person per promotion/campaign on the Mr D Food application.
- The Mr D Food coupons must be used at check-out – it cannot be used later on existing orders.
- Mr D Food coupons with a percentage discount offer may only be redeemed on purchases with a total cart value less than R2,000; and
- The value of the Mr D Food coupon will be set off against the value of the customers shopping basket and the balance remaining, if any, will be payable by the customer.
- The Mr D Food coupon cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
- Mr D Food coupons’ cannot be used to buy and/or gift Mr D Food coupons or exchanged for any other Mr D Food coupons’ and cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash or credit. Mr D is not responsible for any harm due to the loss, unauthorized use or distribution of a coupon.
- If for any reason a Mr D Food coupon does not reflect in the final amount due from the customer at check-out, the customer must please get in touch with the support team via the help page on the Takealot.com website here, to confirm if the Mr D Food coupon is still valid. If Mr D Food confirms that the Mr D Food coupon is still valid and an order has already been placed, the customer can choose whether to cancel the order and place it again with the Mr D Food coupon, or the customer can use the Mr D Food coupon on the next order within the limitations of the specific Mr D Food coupon’s terms and conditions.
- The customer may be required to submit the original communication containing the Mr D Food coupon code, and any other information reasonably requested by Takealot.com, before a customer is able to use the Mr D Food coupon.
- The takealot.com coupon is governed by the following terms and conditions:
- The takealot.com coupons are valid until 31 January 2021 unless you've redeemed your Takealot.com coupon prior to this date and between the redemption dates of 1 February 2021 - 22 April 2021 will be valid until 30 April 2021.
- The takealot.com coupons redeemed from 23 April 2021 will be valid until 31 July 2021.
- Dependent on the qualifying Reward total value, the customer Reward vouchers will be provided in either of the following denominations;

- As a rule, and unless specified otherwise on the specific Takealot.com coupon itself:
- Each Takealot.com coupon can only be used once.
- Only one Takealot.com coupon can be used per order.
- Only one Takealot.com coupon used on the website per person per promotion/campaign.
- The complete value of the Takealot Coupon is to be used.
- A Takealot.com coupon must be used at check-out – it cannot be used later existing orders.
- You will have 24 (Twenty-Four) hours to authorise your order else the coupon will be invalid
- The value of the Takealot.com coupon will be set off against the value of the customers shopping basket and the balance remaining, if any, will be payable by the customer.
- Takealot.com coupon’s cannot be used to buy a gift Takealot.com coupon or exchanged for any other coupon’s and cannot be exchanged or refunded for cash or credit or transferred. Takealot.com is not responsible for any harm due to the loss, unauthorized use or distribution of a Takealot.com coupon.
- If for any reason a Takealot.com coupon does not reflect in the final amount due from the customer at check-out, please get in touch with the support team via the help page on the Takealot.com website here, to confirm if the Takealot.com coupon is still valid. If Takealot.com confirms that the Takealot.com coupon is still valid and the customer has already placed an order, the customer can choose whether to cancel the order and place it again with the Takealot.com coupon, or the customer can use the Takealot.com coupon on your next order within the limitations of the specific Takealot.com coupon’s terms and conditions.
- The customer may be required to submit the original communication containing the Takealot.com coupon code, and any other information reasonably requested by Takealot.com, before the customer is able to use the Takealot.com coupon.
- The qualifying customers will make use of the Reward as part of the payment in Woolworths branches (Food and Clothing) / Pick n Pay branches (Food & Clothing) / Mr Delivery App and Takealot.com website or App nationwide.
- User data collected via the Promotion will not be used for any other purpose than for the execution of the Promotion only.
- User data collected via entry to this promotion will be stored for as long as it is legally required to and in accordance with Vodacom's Privacy Policy, http://www.vodacom.co.za/vodacom/terms/privacy-policy.
- Should a qualifying customer not receive an SMS containing the unique promotional pin code, or have deleted or misplaced the unique promotional pin-code code, please contact 087 057 1255 for verification and for Vodacom to resend the unique promotional pin code-. The original issue date of the SMS will apply, if a customer fails to redeem their Reward within the required validity period, they will forfeit their Reward.
- Redemption of the Reward is restricted to 120 (One Hundred and Twenty) calendar days after the unique promotional pin code has been issued via SMS.
- The Reward will be awarded to the Vodacom number that was upgraded.
- This Promotion is only open to natural persons 18 years and older.
- Neither Vodacom nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors and any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered (including but not limited to direct or indirect or consequential loss), death or personal injury suffered or sustained arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming the Reward.
- Vodacom reserves the right to terminate the Promotion immediately and without notice if the Promotion is held to be or becomes unlawful. In such event, all customers hereby waive any rights which they may have against Vodacom and acknowledge that they will have no recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against Vodacom.
- In the event of a dispute regarding any aspect of the Promotion and/or these Terms and Conditions, Vodacom's decision will be final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered.
- Vodacom may refuse to give any Reward if the qualifying procedures or these Terms and Conditions have not been adhered to or if it detects any irregularities or fraudulent practices. Vodacom is entitled in its entire discretion to reject /withhold any Reward for any reason and will not be obliged to notify customers that they are rejected.
- Vodacom Contract customers who have redeemed on the reward redemption website will be able to log a customer query or complaint using the below details: General and reward queries at queries@expectmorepromos.co.za or 087 057 1255.

These are the terms and conditions that apply when you order from us online (Online Shopping Terms). The Online Shopping Terms must be read together with the promotion terms and conditions that apply to the use of our website; www.vodacom.co.za.
- When you buy goods from us online, you agree to these terms and conditions and that we may send invoices to you electronically
- Goods and Pricing:
- All goods displayed on our website are subject to availability. If any goods ordered by you are not immediately available or are not available at all, we will let you know as soon as possible.
- The stated prices on our website are in South African Rands.
- We have made every effort to accurately display the goods specifically regarding their colour, description and price. Please remember however that the colours that you see will depend on the device which you are using to access our website and we cannot guarantee that the goods when received will be the exact same colour as you have seen it.
- Please ensure that you or your authorised representative is available at the delivery address. If anyone other than the purchaser is accepting delivery of the goods at the delivery address, they are presumed to be authorised to accept the goods on your behalf. We may in certain instances require the person accepting delivery to produce a form of identification. On delivery, we will require that you or your authorised representative sign for the goods and fill in your or their name.
- Risk on the goods will pass to you upon delivery of the goods to you or your authorised representative.
